Meet Our Pastor
In March of 1999, Pastor Geronimo Sigala was saved and baptized while briefly attending Calvary Chapel in North Long Beach. In 2002, Pastor Sigala and his wife Jessica were invited to attend First Baptist Church of Long Beach where they became members under the leadership of Pastor John Wilkerson.
Jessica Sigala- Pastor’s Wife
Shortly after attending First Baptist Church of Long Beach pastors wife, Jessica, was saved and baptized in 2002, and they were married that following summer. As Pastor Sigala grew in his faith he began serving the Lord. He served as an Adult Sunday School teacher, then to working with the addicted, and later teaching a soul winning class. While serving as a Sunday School teacher, Pastor Wilkerson hired Pastor Sigala as a Pastoral Assistant where he began training for his future ministry. In 2007, Pastor Sigala was sent out by FBC to start Harbor Light Baptist Church in the city of Wilmington, California where he grew up.
In 2015, Pastor Sigala was called to start Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington along with Pastor Antonio Perez. Pastor Sigala served as the English Pastor in Wilmington for 8 years, and on October 3, 2021 he was called to be the Pastor of First Baptist Church of Commerce where he currently serves with his wife and 3 children.
